• C.I Precious Paws will not agree to collect any animal of any species under 8 weeks of age at the time of collection.

• C.I Precious Paws will not transport pregnant bitches or queens.

• C.I Precious Paws will only transport animals for re-homing on behalf of the owner or between rescue centres.

• C.I Precious Paws is not responsible for undertaking home-checks.

• C.I Precious Paws does not endorse the use of sedatives and at no time will transport an animal who they have reason to believe has been sedated.

• C.I Precious Paws reserves the right to refuse transport of any dog known to be a banned breed (dogs listed within the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991)

• C.I Precious Paws will not transport any species listed as CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) without a permit. Examples of CITES can include Bengal and Savannah breeds of cat and all their hybrids up to 4 generations (F1 to F4). For further information, please visit the gov.gg website.

• Details of known temperament or behavioural issues must be made clear, as requested, on the booking form. Some behavioural changes are to be expected in animals during transport due to fear, unfamiliar people and surroundings however, if severe aggression is shown in an animal on collection, C.I Precious Paws reserves the right to refuse collection for safety reasons. If at any time an employee of C.I Precious Paws obtains an injury caused by aggressive behaviour by an animal, any cost incurred by C.I Precious Paws for medical treatment, will be passed on to the owner. Dogs will not be transported if a muzzle is required to be worn for reasons of aggression.

• Pets will not be transported in the travel cage with a collar or harness on, for safety reasons.

• If on collection, the animal appears to not be fit to travel, then the owner will be notified immediately and C.I Precious Paws reserves the right to refuse transportation. (not applicable for the Pet Taxi Service).

• All cats must be loaded into their own transport carrier securely, prior to the collection time

• C.I Precious Paws accepts no liability for anyone travelling as a passenger who is not employed by C.I Precious Paws. Owners travel at their own risk, this includes injury, loss or damage to any property including personal belongings and luggage.

• All animals in the care of C.I Precious Paws will be offered food at regular intervals and unlimited water during travel. We ask that information is provided to us regarding usual dietary requirements and of any known allergies your pet may have. C.I Precious Paws does not accept any liability for illness incurred from food eaten, containing an allergen that will affect your pet, if you have not provided all correct information at the time of booking.

• C.I Precious Paws will endeavour to communicate regularly with the owner throughout the journey, providing updates and photos. If you agree to the service booking Terms & Conditions, it is assumed that you consent to photographs of your pet being used on our social media platforms. If you do not wish for photographs of your pet to be included, please notify us at the time of booking. Please note, no owner-identifiable information will be included in the photographs.

• Data Protection – All information contained in our bookings is stored on our computer system for which we are registered and comply with regulations of the

• Data Protection Act. We only collect information for specific purposes of transportation. This is kept secure and destroyed after the required period of time. Any client can request information that we hold about them and can see this on request.

• All employees of C.I Precious Paws will abide by a duty of confidentiality and no information regarding owners and their pets will be shared with a 3rd party without express prior permission.
