This service is designed for pets who require specialist off-Island care.

Your pet may be undergoing veterinary treatment in Guernsey but require transfer to a specialist centre in the UK for additional treatment or procedures, or perhaps you would like them to have a second opinion and are unsure how to get them there.

C.I Precious Paws is able to offer transport in a custom-built vehicle which is fully insulated, has a state-of-the-art temperature-controlled air conditioning system and ventilation system built in. We also have an on-board refrigerator so are able to safely carry medications and/or food that requires to be refrigerated. We offer different sizes of accommodation for different pets. We are able to transport dogs of all sizes (including large breeds), cats, rabbits, guineapigs, ferrets etc. With on-board CCTV cameras, we are able to monitor your pet at all times, even when on the ferry. You can be reassured that your pet will travel comfortably and safely.

With many years of knowledge and experience, we are able to administer medications during the journey, if required, (under the direction of veterinary advice). We are registered with many veterinary practices up and down the country, so have access to emergency veterinary care if required, during travel. You may be able to claim for this service through your insurance company, subject to the conditions of your policy.

This professional and caring service provides travel in a way that minimises additional stress and pain that your pet may already be experiencing due to their illness or injury. With a GPS tracking system, you are able to see where your pet is at every step of the journey, which will help provide you with some reassurance in an already stressful situation. We will also regularly keep you updated by phone as to how your pet is during the journey.
